IDHealth

An initiative of Happee Hearts Movement.

Just like you and me

In this fundraising campaign, we aim to illuminate the life of one of our remarkable patients, Vikneswaran, who faces the challenges of living as an intellectual disability (ID).

Despite his ID, Vikneswaran is just like any of us. His appearance mirrors ours, yet behind that familiar face lies a different and complex world. Simple tasks that we take for granted – like complex planning and decision-making – become significant hurdles for him. But just like you and me, he has his own preferences and aspirations. His dreams may differ, but they are no less significant.

Through this campaign, we want to emphasize that despite our differences, we share a common humanity. Let’s come together to support Vikneswaran and others like him, ensuring that they receive the care and understanding they deserve.

Please watch “Just Like You & Me” and join us in this fundraising campaign. Your generous support and donation will allow us to provide essential healthcare services for adults with intellectual disabilities and their caregivers, empowering them to live meaningful and joyful lives.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Tote Board for supporting our campaign with a matching grant. Together, let’s make a difference!
