“Dare to Dream” aims to empower persons with intellectual disability (PWID) and their families by providing essential healthcare services for them and their caregivers. We currently support over 200 families and 400 caregivers, offering holistic health and psychosocial resources to improve their well-being. With the immense needs on the ground and the increasing population of ageing caregivers and ageing PWIDs, this number will only grow.

Our unwavering commitment to individuals with intellectual disability and their families is to serve as their healthcare provider, ensuring their well-being even when their dedicated caregivers face challenges or are no longer around. We journey alongside individuals promoting their autonomy, and upholding caregivers’ hopes and dreams for their loved ones. The funds raised will enable us to continue serving this vulnerable group in the community, offering comprehensive healthcare support throughout their lives.

Over the next 3 months, we have planned a series of engaging activities to raise funds and awareness. It starts with our health fair in August, where we bring together our volunteers and partners, to promote health and well-being among the PWID community. In September, we will be inviting everyone to participate in our virtual race, ‘’Journey with IDHealth’’, which will offer glimpses into the lives of 4 families, as ageing parents continue to provide lovingly for their adult children with intellectual disability, despite their personal struggles and challenges. Finally, we will be bringing our patients, caregivers, volunteers and supporters together for a physical walk to wrap up the virtual race, fostering unity and camaraderie. Sign up at this website – https://web.42race.com/race-bundle/happeehearts2023 (or scan the QR code below) and join us as we walk in solidarity with the families we serve!

Through this fundraising campaign, we aim to raise $250,000 to support the families in their numerous healthcare needs, and are glad to share that Tote Board will be matching every dollar donated. This means that the impact of your donation will be doubled!

Please support us as we strive for a world where people with intellectual disability and their families can live with dignity and hope, daring to dream.
